It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 9th Croatian Symposium on Renal Replacement Therapy, DiaTransplant 2024, organized together with the 6th Congress of the Mediterranean Kidney Society (MKS) and the 1st Congress of the Croatian Nephrology Nurse Association.

Local organizers, the University Hospital Center Rijeka and the School of Medicine, University of Rijeka, wish you a warm welcome to this important scientific event. DiaTransplant & MKS 2024 will be held in Opatija from October 17-20, 2024.

We truly believe in the Symposium success because of the selected topics which are of special interest in the field of Renal Replacement Therapy. Throughput the scientific program, you will find many distinguished nephrologists and other medical specialists in the multidisciplinary fields connected with nephrology.

This Symposium, already traditional, is going to be a permanent witness of the new scientific developments. Wherever you work, use the opportunity to break away from the daily routine and to discover new approaches, connect to colleagues, and get back home full of new knowledge, ideas, and work motivation.

The emphasis will be on “state-of-the-art” lectures and clinical aspects of hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and kidney transplantation. DiaTransplant & MKS 2024 is going to bring together distinguished clinicians and experts from Croatia and other Mediterranean countries but is open to all participants abroad to present and discuss recent discoveries in these fields.

You are cordially invited to contribute to the success of DiaTransplant & MKS 2024 with a presentation of your work and your abstracts are very much appreciated. Young colleagues and students are specially invited to participate in the scientific program.

Of course, we also want to emphasize the beauty of Opatija, the pearl of Mediterranean, offering friendly and welcoming atmosphere within its historic architecture and rich culture.
